Little Swimmers All Grown Up
Luca (Above) started with swimming with Swimbabes at Inkerman House in Denby Dale in 2011 at just 11 weeks old. Before he had turned 2 years old he was able to jump in confidently, swim a width with support using the swim and breathe technique, use floats and woggles plus many more skills, see the 4 levels of baby swimming by clicking here.
Luca’s continued to progress through the Swimbabes levels and met many of our teachers throughout his years with us, which has stood him in good stead as now he swims for KAL (Kirklees Active Leisure) and has recently won 3 golds and 1 silver swimming for his local team Holmfirth against all the KAL academy swimmers.
Well done Luca
William started swimming with Swimbabes from just a baby at Ravenscliffe School in Halifax, he loved his lessons from the very first day and has never looked back. Recently William qualified and competed in 4 races at the Yorkshire Winter Championships in Leeds and got 3 personal bests. 100m – 1:42.49, 50m breaststroke 55:42PB, 50m fly 46:33PB and 100m breakstroke 1:58.96PB. What an achievement.
Well done William
