Our Swimstars children’s classes at The Plains pool in Elland are ideal for younger swimmers or beginners.

We have sole use of The Plains and its heated to 31 degrees and ideal for young swimmers. Our small groups of just 6 make the lessons ideal for improving confidence and good progression of swim skills. This is a private pool with limited parking onsite and also nearby free parking available nearby free parking available on Plains lane.

"A great big thank you"

  • I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Sophie for last week and let you know how amazing she is (I’m sure you know). My daughter Grace had a bit of a meltdown and wouldn’t go in the pool without me. We just sat at the side and watched. Bit by bit Sophie managed to get Grace onto the steps to get some floating toys and a couple of steps down to put her head under to get another toy. At the end of the lesson when the other children had got out Sophie asked Grace if she wanted to get in with her on her own and she did. Sophie so kindly spent a few minutes with her and Grace loved it. Who knows what today’s lesson will bring but I was blown away with Sophie’s kindness and patience with Grace.
