The July term runs from 29th July – 27th October 2024 with no classes for the Summer Break from 12th August – 1st September inclusive.
The term is 10 weeks long.
Children can join our Swimstars classes from 4 – 10 years of age. If your child has not swam elsewhere they should join at our beginners class. Your child will go in the water on their own while you watch from the side. Swimmers will be required to wear a back float which is provided. Our beginner classes have a small class ratio of 1 teacher to a maximum of 6 swimmers to ensure individual needs are accounted for and children are progressed at a pace they are comfortable with. For our supported beginners we allow 1 parent in with each child, if your little swimmer is aged 3 to 4 years they will require a splash about happy nappy up to the age of 4 years.
If your swimmer has previous swim experience and achieved any awards from Swim England or the STA Award scheme they can join the programme at one of the higher levels, to see more details view our Swimstars levels page.
