Ravenscliffe School Swimstars – New starter

You are joining a continuous swim programme. Your initial booking is for 8 weeks from week commencing 20th January to 16th March 2025. You will be rebooked and will be set up on our monthly payment plan from February (full details will be emailed to you to arrange this).

After the initial booking period you can cancel your booking at any time with 4 weeks written notice. 

Children can join our Swimstars classes from 3 – 8 years of age. If your child has not swam elsewhere they should join at our beginners class. Your child will go in the water on their own while you watch from the side. Swimmers will be required to wear a back float which is provided. Our beginner classes have a small class ratio of 1 teacher to a maximum of 6 swimmers to ensure individual needs are accounted for and children are progressed at a pace they are comfortable with.

If your swimmer has previous swim experience and achieved any awards from Swim England or the STA Award scheme they can join the programme at one of the higher levels, to see more details view our Swimstars levels page. For our supported beginners we allow 1 parent in with each child, if your little swimmer is aged 3 to 4 years they will require a splash about happy nappy up to the age of 4 years.
